Live Syphon Output

Send the rendered frame to other apps in real time.

Live Syphon Output publishes the rendered frame to apps that support Syphon, without exporting a file.

Start the output

  1. Import and select a video.
  2. Open Live Syphon Output in the sidebar.
  3. Click Start.
  4. In the receiving app, choose the VR Converter Studio Syphon server.

Use Syphon for live previews in VJ and mapping apps, or to check a render inside a show pipeline. Files decoded through FFmpeg, such as MKV, WebM, AVI, MPEG-TS and MXF, play more smoothly after the recommended conversion.

Send live to TholusOS

Click Send live to TholusOS to show the picture on the dome through TholusOS. See Use with TholusOS.

The Free plan limits Syphon sessions to 20 minutes at up to 1024 pixels.
